This is a short video of the planning for my show of the Mobiles at the Nilson Gallery of the Monmouth Museum next May 30 to June 29, 2008.

"Reflections"

The subject of this painting is the reflection of fishing boats at a warf in San Francisco.

Giclee prints of my watercolor "Reflections" are now available.

It is printed on 22x30" Arches 140 lb. watercolor paper.

Angel Fish Mobile

My "Angel Fish" Mobile is now available in three versions. It measures 40" high by 28" wide. The construction is all 1/16" aluminum with stainless steel connectors.

Award at the N.E.W.S. International Exhibition

My watercolor "Elm Street" received the Blick Award at the North East Watercolor Society, 31st annual International Exhibition.

"Icarus Falling" at the Montclair Art Museum

My Mobile "Icarus Falling" has been selected to be included in the 2008 New Jersey Arts Annual: Tribal Roots in the Garden State from February 24 to May 11, 2008 at the Montclair Art Museum.

Best in Show Award

My watercolor "Canterbury NH." received the Best In Show award at the Pascack Art Association Annual Member Show.

Pascack Art Association Show - Hillsdale, NJ

My watercolor "Canterbury NH." is now on display at the Pascack Art Association Annual Member Show at the Hillsdale, NJ Library Gallery. The show will be on view untill Oct. 28. Join us for a Reception on Oct. 14th. from 2 to 4 PM.

The size of the painting is 18x22" and it is priced at $350.

Watercolor Award

My watercolor "Reflections" was awarded the Crimson Atelier Prize at the 65th annual New Jersey Watercolor Society Open Juried Show, which is being held at the Monmouth Museum until October 28th.

These are three 9x13" watercolor sketches of windmills on the coast of western Finland.

N.E.W.S. International Exhibition 2007

My watercolor, "Elm Street", showing a group of buildings in South Thomaston, Maine will be included in the North East Watercolor Society, 31st Annual International Open Exhibition 2007, which will be held the last two weeks in October at The Gallery at Kent Art Association in Kent, Connecticut.

Canterbury, New Hampshire

My painting of a street and firehouse at Canterbury Shaker Village, NH will be part of the Pascack Art Association annual member show to be held at the Hillsdale Public Library during October. The watercolor is part of a series on Shaker Architecture, in which I have been interested for many years.

Reflections - Now at the Monmouth Museum

My watercolor painting "Reflections", of four fishing boats in San Fransisco Harbor is now showing at the Monmouth Museum in Lincroft, NJ, until the end of October. It is part of the New Jersey Watercolor Society 65th Annual Open Juried Exhibition, in which paintings by artists from all over New Jersey are chosen for exhibition by a jury of renowned artists.

The framed painting is 30x39". It is listed at $1,500 and can be purchased at the show.

1. Bicycling tour of the South Island in New Zealand. (Where I completed my first 100K day ride)
2. Bicycling tour of Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. (Great scenery - took the cog railway up to the Jungfraujoch at 3475 meters - hiked a mile up the glacier - had lunch at a small hiker shack)
3. Bicycling tour of the Ring of Kerry, Ireland. (Wore the rain suit a lot)
4. Bicycling tour from Venice to Lake Garda, Italy. (Great wine country - have to go back to Venice)
5. Bicycling tour of Lofoten Islands in Arctic Norway. (Long summer days allowed me to complete my first 100 mile day ride.)
6. Hiking in Patagonia, Chile and Argentina. (Lots of volcanoes, extinct and otherwise)
7. Hiking in Alaska. (Saw Whales, Orcas, Seals, Goats, Grizzly Bear, Puffin, Bald Eagles in Glacier Bay)
8. Bicycling tour around the Big Island of Hawaii. (Hiking the Caldera of Kilauea was unforgettable)

Maine Light

I started this painting of Marshall Point Light in Maine, late one afternoon as the sun was setting and backlighting the Keeper's house, making the back porch glow. I later finished it in the studio.
